Overview

We are looking for an experienced GCP Cloud Engineer, responsible for executing/building the GCP cloud infrastructure based on the requirements attached. The role will involve 80% execution, 20% communication, and documentation. Below is the summary of functional requirements we are looking for.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute cloud infrastructure tasks on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) related to a Pimcore Enterprise setup.
• Work on areas such as:
  • GKE setup and configuration
  • Networking, security, and access controls
  • Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Redis
  • CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Collaborate closely with the consultant to clarify architecture and execution details.
• Work with the customer team to understand task requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Clearly understand assigned tasks before execution.
• Proactively raise questions, gaps, or risks early.
• Challenge tasks if they are unclear, underestimated, or technically unrealistic.
• Provide realistic effort estimates and ETAs for his tasks.
• Deliver work in a productionready manner.
• Create documentation & Knowledge Transfer (Very Important).
• Maintain daily timesheets with a brief description of work done.
• Proactively communicate blockers or dependencies.

• Duration: Monthonmonth engagement (initially 1 month, expected to extend).
• Capacity: Dedicated person with a total capacity of 120 hours per month.
• Role Type: Handson execution + collaboration.
• Working Model: Embedded within the customer’s DevOps setup, representing Credencys.
