- Responsibilities:
- ? Help define and execute comprehensive Application Development approach and plans for
- OTT video streaming applications and services
- ? Build & implement technical solutions to the developer challenges faced during SDLC phases.
- ? Challenging Status-Quo and actively thinking about bringing more efficiencies to the processes
- and delivery approach
- ? Participate in code reviews in accordance with program specifications and coding standards,
- practices and conventions, new designs, changes, and enhancements
- ? Collaborate with project managers, user experience leads, QA leads and technical leads to
- analyze customer needs and business requirements
- ? Collaborate with other team members, participating in Scrum meetings, design discussions, and
- team code reviews
- ? Provide additional support on proposals, pre-sales, and POCs to OTT Prospects
- Must-Have:
- ? B.Tech/ MCA with at least 4-7 years of overall experience in Software Development and 1-2
- year in LG/Samsung TV Application Development
- ? Experience with app development for Samsung TV (Tizen) or LG TV (webOS)
- ? Deep understanding of JavaScript and JS frameworks
- ? Function, Hoisting, Prototype, Async Await, Inheritance, Closure, Promise, Event Loop,ES6,
- Object
- ? Must have a good understanding of playback KPIs
- ? Must have a good understanding of Player development or integration
- ? Understanding of development for different platforms like Mobile, Web, Set Top Box, and Smart
- TV.
- ? Must have experience in performing integration with Analytics using third-party services
- ? Good understanding of partner ecosystem
- ? An idea of different types of DRM and their integration
