Job Description

  • *Job* : DB2 data analyst/ extraction specialist
  • *Experience* : 6 to 8 years
  • *Location* : Remote
  • *Role Overview:* A mid-level role responsible for the technical execution of data extraction from DB2 and its mapping to SAP data structures. This role works under the lead to define, extract, and cleanse required master and transactional data.
  • *Key Responsibilities* : Perform detailed analysis of DB2 data to support extraction and transformation. Collaborate with SAP consultants for accurate field-level mapping. Identify and document data quality issues and cleansing requirements. Assist in creating transformation and validation logic.
  • *Key Differentiators:* Focuses on detailed data mapping and profiling. Acts as a bridge between business understanding and technical extraction. Works closely with the lead to provide hands-on data insights. Experience in data migration and conversion projects involving SAP (ECC or S/4HANA). Experience working with data mapping, profiling, and cleansing processes. Familiarity with ETL tools (SAP BODS, Informatica, or equivalent) is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical and functional specifications. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
