- Job Title: DevOps Engineer (AWS) OverView As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will work closely with our development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of our services. Your expertise in AWS and DevOps practices will be critical in optimizing our deployment processes, enhancing system reliability, and enabling continuous delivery.
- Responsibilities - Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS. - Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of AWS infrastructure using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK. - Collaborate with development teams to build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions - Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability using New Relic - Implement and manage security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), VPC, and data encryption. - Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) scripts and templates to ensure consistent and reproducible deployments. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments. - Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and provide recommendations for improvements. - Participate in on-call rotation and respond to production incidents as needed. - Document processes, procedures, and infrastructure configurations.
- Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience. - 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS. - Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch. - Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible - Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (EKS). - Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions. - Understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, TCP/IP, and VPN. = Monitoring tools like New Relic - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - AWS Certified DevOps Engineer � Professional or other relevant AWS certifications. - Experience with serverless architectures and services such as AWS Lambda and API Gateway. - Knowledge of database administration and optimization in both SQL and NoSQL databases. - Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as ELK stack, Prometheus, or Grafana. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
