- Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ODI-based data integration solutions, both on-premises and in the cloud.
- Work extensively with Oracle BI Applications (OBIA) 11.x, focusing on Finance modules.
- Enhance existing ODI mappings to accommodate customizations and business-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data integration and transformation rules.
- Create and manage complex ETL workflows, including data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading processes.
- Optimize ODI jobs, mappings, and procedures for performance and scalability.
- Integrate data from various sources, including Oracle EBS and other cloud/on-premises systems.
- Maintain and update ODI repositories, configurations, and security settings.
- Ensure high standards of data quality, integrity, and validation throughout the ETL lifecycle.
- Provide technical documentation, including solution designs, workflow diagrams, and deployment procedures.
- Support and troubleshoot production environments, resolving ETL failures or performance issues.
- Coordinate with data architects, analysts, and business users to deliver accurate and timely data solutions.
- Contribute to OBIEE repository development and the creation of dashboards and analytics.
- Mandatory skills:
- 8+ years strong expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and BI APPS 11.x.
- Deep understanding of data warehousing architecture and ETL best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS data models, particularly in:
- Finance modules: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA) Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
- Working knowledge of OBIEE repository setup, analytics, and dashboard creation.
- Experience with data validation, cleansing, and performance tuning in large-scale ETL environments.
- Familiarity with ODI cloud implementations is a plus.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Good to have skills: Experience in working with event management domain is added advantage.
- Soft skills: Excellent communications, self-driven, should not be someone who waits for the task to be assigned but checks the backlog and ask for being assigned.
