Job Description
- Firmware engineer. Based on the recording this is what he needs-
- Experience: 6�7 Years
- Location: Remote / Onsite
- Need around Android Firmware
- Exp with AOSP.
- As in how someone takes an Android source and how you modify it and build it
- For them, they have a media player and have lots of devices, including the ODM that provides a board support package. There is a BSP as well, which is the source of the whole firmware. They take the source and modify it to their own specifications. They also remove the software and change different settings, and basically recompile the entire Firmware and then flash it onto the unit and test to see if it works. Then they need firmware engineers to maintain or update the firmware device over time. In total, they have 10 devices and provide the over-the-air updates of the OS.
