  • Project Context We are a retail company seeking to increase the efficiency, auditability, and compliance of internal processes across our HR, Finance, Maintenance, and Administrative departments. Our aim is to reduce manual, paper-based operations by introducing automation using Microsoft Power Platform, while laying the foundation for a reusable, compliant digital process architecture. Currently, we operate a custom in-house ERP system on MS SQL, with no existing connection to Power Platform tools. We require support in bridging this gap, designing integrations, and deploying automation workflows in compliance with internal ISO 9001 principles and applicable legal requirements (e.g., digital signatures, audit logs). --- ????? Role Overview Title: Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer + Consultant Type: Part-time (Remote) Hours: ~10 hours/week (Ongoing engagement) Collaboration: Works closely with a beginner-level in-house Business Analyst and may interact directly with non-technical business users. Reporting: Reports to CTO or designated technical lead --- ?? Objectives & Deliverables The RPA Developer will be responsible for: 1. Process Automation Automate key business workflows (e.g., leave approvals, field trip cost requests, document handling) using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse. Ensure automation meets auditability, data consistency, and legal compliance (e.g., digital signature requirements). 2. Architecture Design Design a scalable, modular automation framework using Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform architecture best practices. Establish integration patterns between in-house MS SQL ERP and Power Platform / Dataverse. 3. Dataverse Setup Build and configure a standardized Dataverse environment to support future self-service development. Define data models to support digital forms, logs, and workflows. 4. Collaboration & Support Support the in-house business analyst with process design and testing. Provide documentation for architecture, workflows, and configurations. --- ?? Required Skills & Experience Proven experience with: Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse) Process automation and workflow design Integration between SQL-based systems and Microsoft tools Ability to: Analyze and document business processes (bonus if aligned with ISO 9001) Work with non-technical stakeholders Design reusable and scalable automation components Knowledge of: Microsoft Fabric architecture Digital signature and audit trail implementations (preferred) Data governance, security, and compliance --- ?? Nice to Have Exposure to retail or supply chain operations Experience with ISO-compliant document and workflow systems --- ?? Access & Support The developer will be provided: Access to relevant process documentation, ERP data (as needed), and technical environment Support from an internal business analyst for requirement gathering and user testing
