- Job Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ansible and Terraform Developer to join our DevOps team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
- You will work closely with our cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to automate the deployment and configuration of scalable, secure, and resilient environments.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for provisioning cloud resources (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Automate configuration management and application deployments using Ansible.
- Create reusable, testable, and efficient playbooks, roles, and modules.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines integrated with Ansible and Terraform.
- Collaborate with cloud architects, developers, and security teams to define infrastructure requirements.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and help optimize cost, reliability, and scalability.
- Maintain version control of infrastructure code using Git (GitHub, GitLab, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in infrastructure automation and deployments.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure code and processes.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with Linux/Unix system administration and shell scripting.
- Proficient in using version control tools like Git.
- Experience in writing modular, reusable code and playbooks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Understanding of infrastructure security best practices.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).
- Familiarity with Python or Go for scripting/automation (optional).
- Knowledge of configuration drift and policy-as-code tools (e.g., Sentinel, OPA).
