Job Description

  • * **Manufacturing:** Deep knowledge of SAP PP (Production Planning), covering discrete, process, and repetitive manufacturing scenarios. This includes MRP (Material Requirements Planning), MPS (Master Production Scheduling), demand planning, shop floor control, production order management, and confirmation processes. Experience with advanced planning tools like SAP IBP or APO is also highly valued, along with expertise in BOM, routings, work centers, capacity planning, and MES integration for real-time production visibility.
  • * **Logistics:** Proficiency in SAP MM (Materials Management), including procurement cycles, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, vendor management, and source determination. Expertise in SAP WM/EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) for warehouse structure design, slotting/rearrangement, putaway/picking strategies, and RF framework for handheld devices. Additionally, proficiency in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) for outbound logistics, shipping, delivery creation, transportation planning, and freight cost settlement.
  • * **Supply Chain:** Strong understanding of SAP SCM/APO or SAP IBP, encompassing demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, deployment planning, and global ATP (Available-to-Promise). Hands-on experience in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes and knowledge of SCM analytics for forecast accuracy and inventory turns are crucial.
  • * **Technical Expertise:** Experience with S/4HANA Logistics and Supply Chain modules (MM, PP, SD, EWM, TM, IBP) and familiarity with S/4HANA simplification items in manufacturing and logistics (e.g., MRP Live, embedded EWM). Configuration expertise in production order types, confirmations, scheduling parameters, delivery processing, transportation planning, and inbound/outbound warehouse processes is required. Understanding of HANA-based analytics for real-time manufacturing and supply chain KPIs and RICEFW design for manufacturing/logistics customizations are also important.
  • * **Integration Skills:** Ability to integrate manufacturing with finance (production cost controlling, material ledger), sales and distribution with logistics execution, EWM with TM, MES systems (Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, etc.), and supplier portals (Ariba, Coupa). Experience with real-time data exchange via SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI middleware is also a key requirement.
  • * **Data Migration & Validation:** Expertise in master data setup for manufacturing and logistics (Material master, Vendor, Customer, BOM, Routing, Work Center migration, Storage bin, and warehouse master data for EWM). Experience with transactional data migration (open POs, stock balances, WIP, inbound/outbound deliveries) and post-migration reconciliation (physical vs. system inventory checks, validation of production orders) is necessary.
  • * **Project Delivery:** Experience in delivering Fit-to-Standard workshops in manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics, along with process re-engineering to align with S/4HANA best practices. Execution of UAT and regression testing for manufacturing/logistics flows, cutover planning for production, inventory, and delivery transitions, and hypercare support focused on stabilizing supply chain operations post-go-live.
  • * **Soft Skills & Leadership:** Ability to translate shop floor challenges into SAP solutions, strong collaboration with production managers, warehouse supervisors, and supply chain planners. The ideal candidate should be able to prioritize operational continuity while introducing new processes, skilled at resolving bottlenecks in material flow, and possess strong stakeholder engagement, especially with manufacturing leadership.
  • * **Preferred Certifications:** SAP Certified Application Associate � Production Planning & Manufacturing in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Certified Application Associate � Sourcing and Procurement in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Certified Application Associate � Extended Warehouse Management with SAP S/4HANA, and SAP IBP Certification (for supply chain planning focus).
