  • Position Overview
  • DevOps Enginee to manage the delivery of product, a complex system based on FileMaker, NodeJS, and other technologies. As a member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing advanced deployment pipelines, leading the adoption of best practices in DevOps, and driving the automation of our infrastructure and developer experience. Your role will be crucial to optimizing the delivery of our product, a complex system based on FileMaker Pro, nodejs, and other technologies.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Lead and optimize the design, building, and maintenance of advanced automated deployment pipelines, focusing on enhancing efficiency, delivery speed, and quality of releases.
  • Architect and implement robust monitoring systems to proactively address system health issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Drive the automation and scalability of our IT infrastructure using state-of-the-art tools and practices, with a continuous focus on improving cost-efficiency and system performance.
  • Deploy updates and fixes, prioritizing stability, security, and rapid delivery to meet dynamic business needs.
  • Provide level 2 and level 3 technical support, acting as a key point of escalation for complex issues and ensuring swift resolution to minimize impact on operations.
  • Investigate, resolve, and optimize high-level technical challenges, leveraging deep technical expertise to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
  • Design, oversee, and continuously improve procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance, aiming for minimal downtime and maximum automation.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and efficiency in all DevOps practices.
  • Strategize on infrastructure management and pipeline performance to improve cost-efficiency, performance, and delivery speed, ensuring the best tools and practices are in place.
  • Collaborate with Chief Architect and cross-functional teams to ensure DevOps practices align with organizational goals and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions faster and more reliably.
  • Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role in software engineering or IT operations with a deep understanding of DevOps and high availability strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and coordination skills, capable of leading discussions and initiatives across departments.
  • Expertise in SQL DBA tasks, including database maintenance, security management, backups, instance monitoring, and ensuring database integrity.
  • Problem solving utilizing PowerShell, FileMaker and AWS CLI scripting.
  • Strong Windows administration and deployment tools skills.
  • Proficient in configuring and managing Nginx for load balancing, reverse proxying, and optimizing web server performance.
  • Advanced technical expertise in cloud technologies, with an emphasis on AWS services.
  • AWS Certification or Solution Architecture Certification are required, with preference for advanced certifications.
  • Expertise in designing, building, and monitoring Azure Devops CI/CD pipelines, or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive experience with Linux and Windows based infrastructure .
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business technology, healthcare, or related fields.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Healthcare experience is highly desirable, reflecting a deep understanding of the sector's unique challenges and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of FileMaker Server (FMS) and FileMaker Pro (FMP) version upgrades, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for upgrade processes, including comprehensive testing and validation.
