Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong handson experience in implementing and managing modern data solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role involves building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions based on architectural designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement architectdesigned data solutions by building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Work handson with code and tools to solve daytoday technical challenges.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines.
• Build efficient systems for data ingestion, processing, and storage.
• Monitor and optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with data architects and analysts to optimize solutions as per business requirements.
• Deliver functional data pipelines, optimized databases, and automated workflows.

Required Skills

• Mandatory handson experience with Microsoft Fabric (or strong experience with Azure Synapse), including:
  • Notebooks
  • Shortcuts
  • Data Lake
  • Data Warehouse
• Minimum 2+ years of experience implementing and managing data solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or C.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (Star Schema / Snowflake Schema).
• Solid handson knowledge of:
  • Dataflows / Power Query
  • DAX Queries
  • SQL
  • KQL
• Handson experience with Azure data services, including:
  • Power BI for visualization
  • Azure Data Factory for ETL and pipelines
  • Azure Data Lake Storage (Gen 1 / Gen 2)
  • Azure Blob Storage
  • Azure Synapse / Azure Analysis Services (AAS) for analytics

Preferred Skills

• Handson understanding of Power BI or similar BI tools like Tableau.
• Exposure to other data platforms such as:
  • Snowflake
  • Databricks
• Microsoft certifications are a strong plus:
  • Microsoft Fabric DP600 / DP700
  • Any other relevant Azure Data certification

Other Details

We are looking for highly skilled and immediately productive resources with strong experience in the abovementioned technologies. Candidates must be flexible with shift timing and willing to work from Baroda for the initial onboarding period.
