Salesforce Marketing and Data Cloud

Overview

EXP 7+,

Location: Remote

Contract duration: 1 year

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Cloud Expertise: Work with core Salesforce Marketing Cloud modules, including Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, and Content Builder.
  • Utilize and customize Pardot and Personalization modules (nice to have).
  • Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant: Design, implement, and optimize Data Cloud (CDP) solutions. The role includes configuring data ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation, activation, and building unified customer profiles. The consultant will work with business teams to define Customer 360 use cases, map data models, and enable crosscloud activation in Marketing cloud.
  • Technical Proficiency: Troubleshoot API failures and bugs to ensure seamless integration and operations.
  • Adjust and optimize AMPscript and ServerSide JavaScript (SSJS) for dynamic marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and manage HTMLbased dynamic content independently.
  • Manage content effectively using SDKs (Software Development Kits).
  • Platform Support & Development: Provide technical support to the marketing team, addressing platformrelated issues and optimizing system performance.
  • Assist with Agentforce and related functionalities for agent enablement.
  • Software Development & Integration: Work on Apexbased software development for customizing Salesforce applications.
  • Implement AI customizations to enhance Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionalities.
  • Salesforce Ecosystem Knowledge: Demonstrate proficiency in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Agent Builder to enable endtoend customer journey solutions.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration across the Salesforce ecosystem.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 710 years of handson experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Handson experience with Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • Configure Data Cloud: Data Streams, DMOs, Identity Resolution, Segments, Activation.
  • Design data models, matching rules, and harmonization frameworks.
  • Build Calculated Insights and Data Graphs.
  • Integrate data via connectors, APIs, or MuleSoft.
  • Enable use cases across Marketing Cloud, CRM, and Einstein AI.
  • Strong knowledge of API troubleshooting, AMPscripts, SSJS, and HTML.
  • Proficiency in SDKs and Salesforce ecosystem tools (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agent Builder).
  • Experience in AI customizations and Apex development is highly desirable.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problemsolving.

  • Overall experience 7 to 9 year ++
  • Marketing cloud 4+ minimum
  • Data cloud 2 years + (at least 1 year.. recently worked on data cloud project)
  • Marketing cloud account engagement/ Pardot 2 to 4 years
  • Good to have knowledge on AgentForce, Einstein ChatBot, Sales Cloud (Flows and Apex classes).
