Job Description
- Overview
- A Microsoft Fabric Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Microsoft Fabric solutions, ensuring seamless integration with data platforms, analytics, and Al workloads. This role requires expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Power BI, Data Lakes, and Al-driven analytics. The architect collaborates with stakeholders to design scalable and high-performance data architectures that support business intelligence, machine learning, and real-time analytics.
- Key Responsibilities
- 1. Architecture & Design
- Design and implement Microsoft Fabric solutions for data integration, governance, and analytics.
- Architect scalable data lakehouses, warehouses, and real-time analytics solutions.
- Ensure security, compliance, and best practices for Microsoft Fabric deployments.
- Optimize data models, Direct Lake, and Real-Time Analytics for performance and cost efficiency.
- 2. Data Engineering & Integration
- Work with Synapse Data Warehouses, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse concepts within Microsoft Fabric.
- Implement ETL/ELT pipelines using Data Factory, Dataflows, and Pipelines.
- Integrate Microsoft Fabric with Power BI, Azure Machine Learning, and third-party tools.
- 3. Governance, Security & Compliance
- Define data governance policies using Microsoft Purview.
- Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and security best practices.
- 4. Performance Optimization & Monitoring
- Optimize compute and storage costs for Microsoft Fabric workloads.
- Monitor data pipelines, Power BI DirectQuery performance, and Synapse workloads.
- Troubleshoot DAX, SQL, and KQL queries for performance tuning.
- 5. Collaboration
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, business users, and IT teams.
- Provide guidance on Fabric adoption, best practices, and migration from existing Azure data & Analytics platforms
- Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions on Microsoft Fabric capabilities.
