  • Overview:
  • This Senior Business Analyst � Clinical Trial will offer expertise and system support to develop and improve business systems, aiming to deliver new or enhanced products to clients or effective planning, reporting, and analysis tools for internal functions. The products supported by this role serve both internal and external users and are a key technical foundation in Customer's strategy to provide insights to its customers. Contributions from the Senior Business Analyst will be directly visible to the senior management team.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Stay updated on IT industry trends and emerging platform capabilities to identify opportunities for business improvement and influence IT investment decisions.
  • Optimize requirements management for large, complex projects.
  • Plan and manage BA delivery performance, monitoring and optimizing throughout the SDLC.
  • Use process modeling to clarify business requirements and optimize interactions across partners and vendors.
  • Create interactive simulations to visually model, confirm, and elaborate requirements.
  • Use data modeling to identify business entities, definitions, and relationships, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and identifying reuse opportunities.
  • Engage delivery teams to define BA deliverable expectations and verify them through frequent feedback.
  • Deliver BA services in line with Customer standards, SOPs, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Review and transition requirements throughout the SDLC lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder partnerships, facilitating engaging workshops to maximize stakeholder time, build trust, and drive satisfaction.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on user needs and business systems understanding.
  • Solve complex problems considering equipment capacity, operating time, and desired results, including analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into system specifications.
  • Apply deep business domain knowledge to drive clarity and comprehension of scope and requirements.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and business concepts to technical audiences.
  • Build partnerships and influence decisions related to scope and requirements
  • Incorporate BA best practices and emerging trends to optimize requirements management and evolve the BA community.
  • Facilitate groups in applying creative, design, and systems thinking.
  • Teach and coach individuals in using multiple modeling syntaxes to optimize requirements management.
  • Implement and deliver validation processes ensuring regulatory compliance across the SDLC.
  • Demonstrate good writing and editing skills in creating solution delivery documents, including executive presentations, and marketing material.
  • Define and integrate BA practices across the SDLC lifecycle to optimize solution delivery.
  • Contribute to teamwork across diverse groups and the BA community.
  • Minimum Required Education and Experience:
  • 7+ years of business analysis experience, with industry accreditation or certification preferred; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Knowledge of business-wide applications (e.g., third-party software and internal operational applications) or client-facing applications and products.
  • Ability to understand client requirements and underlying infrastructure applications, systems, and processes to execute those skills effectively.
