Job Description

  • SAP LEAD ARCHITECT

  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • � SAP team performance: This involves setting clear objectives and aligning the team's efforts to achieve them.
  • o During the carve-out phase this means, ensuring prioritization of tasks contributing to the TSA Exit, detailed troubleshooting of UAT issues, follow up with the various business and IT stakeholders to understand the issue and support the defect resolution process, proactively reach out to the business users to ensure a smooth transition, support the cutover and hypercare
  • o After the TSA Exit this means, ensuring timely follow-up of tickets raised, efficient allocation of the tickets to the relevant resources, ensure the SAP team is prepared to take up the support role, align with other IT stakeholders on other IT projects impacting the SAP system (e.g. RISE upgrade project)
  • � Hands-On attitude and delivery focus: The SAP lead takes an active role in the team, contributing to the successful delivery of the tasks at hand and services
  • � Run Organization: Establish the SAP Run Organization, overseeing day-to-day operations and workload of the SAP team. The individual must ensure that team members understand their roles, facilitate teamwork, escalate issues when necessary to the SVP of Applications.
  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • � Technical Expertise: Proficiency in various SAP ECC modules and SAP systems such as PPM, APO and GTS
  • � Leadership Skills: Leadership skills to manage and guide the SAP team, ensuring tasks are completed within the allocated timeline and with the required standard of quality. The ability to provide guidance and mentoring to team members is essential
  • � Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior executives, business users, and stakeholders. The ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with team members is important
  • � Business Acumen: An understanding of business processes and the ability to drive solutions that align with business goals. Experience in managing SAP users, authorizations, and profiles is necessary
  • � Language skills: Proficient in English.
